Cameron's KO prompts Haye to get in touch

By: Andy Rowe | Other Sport News | Friday July 6 2012 12:27

Shane Cameron's brutal knock out of Monte Barrett hasn't gone unnoticed by former world champion David Haye.

Cameron spared with Haye in England in the lead up to last night fight.

Manager Ken Reinsfield says the Haye camp has already been in touch.

"Got a text from Adam Booth, David Haye's trainer and manager. Him and David watched the fight and I got a text... must have been in the early hours of the morning from Adam Booth going 'congratulations, what an absolutely devastating knock out'."

Reinsfield says the knock out is sure to lead to bigger opportunities on the world stage.
