All Whites coach Ricki Herbert will today name his 23-man squad for this month's friendlies against Honduras and El Salvador and the next stage of World Cup qualifying in June. Football commentator Jason Pine says the 18 players originally named to face Jamaica back in February can get their passports ready. Add goalkeeper Glen Moss and probably striker Rory Fallon, which leaves three places up for grabs. Herbert may go with what he knows and bring in the likes of David Mulligan, Jeremy Christie or Aaron Clapham. But, Pine says there likely to be a couple of new faces in possibly Phoenix utility Cameron Lindsay or Auckland City's Ian Hogg. It appears naturalised Brazilian Daniel won't be included. |
