Hogg knows he may have to wait for bigger opportunity

Uncapped All White Ian Hogg knows his time in the national side may be brief at first.

Hogg and fellow Auckland City youngster Adam McGeorge have been called into the squad for injured captain Ryan Nelsen.

He says Nelsen has a hold on his spot when fit, so this is all about taking in the experience.

"I'm still pretty young, 22. So hopefully I've a few more years left in me so I guess it's more learning from them and trying to work on my own game. Obviously the experience will be pretty valuable for the future."

Both Hogg and Adam McGeorge are regular members of the Olympic bound Oly-Whites.
