Queens Park Rangers have endorsed Ryan Nelsen's participation in the Olywhites' Olympic warm up matches.
New Zealand faces Korea, Japan and the U.A.E. on the way to London.
Nelsen says QPR manager Mark Hughes is more than happy for him to play in as many games as possible.
"He kind of knows me inside and out so it's a really good way to get some really high quality games under your belt during pre-season. Sometimes in pre-season games you can kind of go through the motions."
Nelsen says he's had no issues with QPR when it comes to getting released for the Olywhites matches.
