Young talent may lead All Whites forward

| Latest Football News | Friday May 25 2012 7:33

Coach Ricki Herbert believes he's unearthed a wealth of young talent to lead the All Whites forward.

The 2-all draw against 49th ranked El Salvador included a number of attacking initiatives from inexperienced players.

Herbert says they created more chances than previously.

He says they've got plenty of pace now which is helping them up the field.

Herbert says there will be a number of changes to take on Honduras on Sunday considering the number of tired bodies.

Herbert wants to give the whole squad a go.

"We're always battling to improve that's for sure and we'll have a really good look at the DVD over the next couple of days but there's a number of tired legs sitting in the bus. We'll just wait and see how they recover."

New Zealand is ranked 130th in the world, ahead of Iceland but below Lebanon.
