Lionel Messi has become the first player to score five goals in Champions League history, leading Barcelona to a 7-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen at the Nou Camp.

Barca are through to the quarter finals 10-2 on aggregate.

Cypriot side Apoel Nicosia have levelled their tie against Lyon at one all, leading 1-nil on the night in Cyprus.

The match has gone into extra time.

Meanwhile Tottenham is through to the quarter finals of the League after a 3-1 extra time win over Stevenage in their fifth round replay.

Ryan Nelsen conceded an early penalty but Spurs have come back to cruise to the win and a quarter final meeting against Bolton.
