Greenacre contemplating future

By: Guy Heveldt | Latest Football News | Friday April 13 2012 17:22

Wellington Phoenix player/coach Chris Greenacre concedes his time in the middle could well be over.

Greenacre's weighing up his options with the A-League club after their season came to an end last weekend.

He played a pivotal part at striker for the Phoenix throughout the year but knows his time is nearly up.

"In a perfect world I'd play until I'm forty and I'd play every game but that's not going to happen and sooner or later you've got to look at the next stage in your life and hopefully that's going to be coaching for me."

Chris Greenacre says with the new academy being set up at the Phoenix it opens up some doors for his coaching future.
