Phoenix stuck at depths of A-League with 2-0 loss

Related

The Wellington Phoenix remain bottom of the A-League football table after a 2-0 loss to the Roar in Brisbane.

Steven Lustica opened the scoring before halftime with Besart Berisha doubling the margin soon after the break.

New Wellington striker Corey Gameiro drew several good saves out of the Brisbane keeper and had a goal ruled out by a controversial linesman's decision in the eighth minute.

Isaka Cernak came off injured for the Phoenix after half an hour.
