Gilbert not planning return to full-time coaching

By: Nick Walker | Latest Rugby News | Saturday May 12 2012 7:25

Tony Gilbert insists he's not on the brink of a return to full-time coaching.

The former All Blacks assistant will take charge of the South Island side to meet the North in the Otago benefit match in Dunedin next month.

Gilbert's adamant it's a one-time thing.

"No, not a chance. This is just a privilege to be able to do something like this and I'm delighted it's happening in Dunedin and I know that local people will want to get out and see these young people in action."

Graeme Mourie will coach the North team.
