The Chiefs are home, there's a buzz around the squad, and co-captain Craig Clarke can see some similarities to the 2009 grand final team. Having the returned from three games overseas on top of table, the Chiefs face the Hurricanes Saturday night in Hamilton to start the second half of their campaign. Clarke says certain things are the same as 2009. "The mood when you turn up to training, and when your back's against the wall a little bit, you've sort of got belief that something's going to happen, that we're working for each other, and that we'll get across the line." The Chiefs are on track for their biggest crowd of the season, with 16,000 tickets so far sold for Waikato Stadium. Photo: Photosport |
