The All Blacks have rounded out an unbeaten Rugby Championship with a resounding 32-16 win over the Springboks in Soweto. The hosts had the better of the match's early stages, shooting out to a 10-0 lead before tries to Sam Whitelock and Aaron Smith pushed the All Blacks in front. Two late penalties secured a 16-12 half time lead to the Springboks, but the All Blacks completely dominated the second spell, with Ma'a Nonu crossing 25 seconds into the half and his midfield partner Conrad Smith scoring another. First-five Daniel Carter added the finishing polish with a drop goal and penalty. It brings their winning streak to 16, their highest in the professional era. Photo: Getty Images |
