Pocock in doubt for second Bledisloe clash

By: Nick Walker | Latest Rugby News | Sunday August 19 2012 14:54

Wallabies captain David Pocock's in doubt for Saturday's Bledisloe Cup rematch after injuring his knee in their opening loss against the All Blacks in Sydney.

Pocock will undergo scans on the knee today to assess the complaint.

All Black opposite Richie McCaw says if he plays or not, they need to be better at securing their own ball in Auckland next weekend.

"We weren't perfect at the breakdown but when you get across the advantage line and go forward it's a lot easier to look after your ball and I think a lot of the game we did that pretty well. But I think there's times the ball at the breakdown wasn't perfect."

The only injury concern for the All Blacks in Tony Woodcock's rib complaint, though it's not known how serious it is.
