The Blues have confirmed they're looking for a new head coach for the 2013 Super Rugby season.
The Blues board and the NZRU have agreed the position will be advertised now to maximise the opportunity to test the market and recruit the best available head coach.
Pat Lam is eligible to apply for the job and will continue as head coach of the Blues this season.
The recruitment process will take place across June and July.
