Concern over Mealamu's fitness

There's serious concerns in the All Blacks training camp over the fitness of Blues hooker Keven Mealamu.

Mealamu hasn't been sighted for the Super Rugby strugglers in well over a month due to a calf injury.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says news on his fitness should come soon.

"I'm waiting to see how he comes through today, from a medical point of view, and he's got some scans so there may be an issue there."

Mealamu and Andrew Hore were the only hookers named in the 35 man squad.
