New Zealand coach Gordon Tietjens is demanding excellence from his side right up until the final match of the season. Tietjens' side only needs to make the plate final in London to clinch their tenth IRB World Sevens Series title. He says a sub par tournament performance would make for a hollow series victory. "It's about wining the tournament. We're going to certainly do everything to win the tournament it's not just getting enough points to secure that world series title, but it's about going out on a high and winning that tournament." New Zealand faces Russia, Kenya and Argentina in pool play tonight. |
