By: Radio Sport staff | Latest Rugby News | Friday August 17 2012 8:03

The Johannesburg based Lions have been dropped from next year's Super Rugby competition to make way for new South African side the Southern Kings.

The Lions, who finished last in this year's tournament, have been relegated so the new franchise to be based in Port Elizabeth can join the 15 team competition.
