Mixed injury news for Blues

By: Brenton Vannisselroy | Latest Rugby News | Monday April 30 2012 11:23

Mixed injury news for the Blues following their eighth loss of the Super Rugby season.

Blues coach Pat Lam rates All Blacks prop Tony Woodcock as extremely doubtful to face the Hurricanes on Friday night.

He strained his calf prior to the loss to the Reds.

Outside back Rudi Wulf injured his shoulder against Queensland and is considered a touch and go prospect to play.

However, Lam says captain Keven Mealamu should return from his calf injury, while Ma'a Nonu's corked thigh shouldn't see him sidelined.
