New Zealand has won back to back Wellington sevens titles with a 24-7 victory over Fiji in the final.
The damage was done in the first half, with captain DJ Forbes and Tomasi Cama scoring either side of a Frank Halai brace as the home side took a 24-0 lead into the break.
It is the sixth time the kiwis have won the Wellington leg of the IRB World Sevens Series.
The win means New Zealand go into the series lead ahead of the Las Vegas leg next weekend.
Earlier, Scotland won the shield final over Cook Islands, Kenya won the bowl over Australia, and South Africa beat Tonga to take the plate.
