Clean sweep for Rugby Championship teams

By: Elliott Smith | Latest Rugby News | Sunday June 10 2012 10:41

It's a clean sweep for the Rugby Championship teams against European opponents.

Following the All Blacks' 42-10 win over Ireland, Australia, South Africa and Argentina all racked up overnight wins.

The Wallabies proved too strong for Wales 27-19, with Will Genia providing a sublime performance from halfback in Brisbane.

Genia scored a try and set up Rob McCabe for the winner.

17 points from Morne Steyn helped the Springboks run out a 22-17 victory over England in the first of their tests in Durban.

Meanwhile Felipe Contempomi became Argentina's all time top points scorer with 22 in their 37-22 win over Italy in San Juan.
