Canterbury beat Auckland in ITM Clash

Canterbury has recorded their first win of the ITM Cup, with a 33-11 victory over Auckland in Christchurch.

The four time defending champions have outscored the visitors three tries to one, with Andy Ellis grabbing a double and Willie Heinz the other.

Ben Lam scored Auckland's only try of the match, with Gareth Anscombe kicking two penalties.

Canterbury led 20-11 at halftime.
