Alleged salary cap breach to be investigated

By: Radio Sport staff | Latest Rugby News | Saturday July 28 2012 13:55

An investigation into an alleged salary cap breach by an Australian Super Rugby franchise is expected to be finalised in the next two weeks.

It's been reported the franchise rorted the cap by making a player payment and passing it off as a "ground fee".

Australian Rugby Union boss John O'Neill says the allegations are being taken seriously and the integrity system for all five Australian Super Rugby teams must be maintained.
