Sir Graham Henry has received a frosty reception from the All Blacks in Wellington.
Following the test on Saturday night, the Argentina technical assistant entered the New Zealand changing rooms.
Journalist Phil Gifford says when he left words were muttered that would suggest Sir Graham would not be welcome back.
"I was working with, let me just call it an impeccable source, who was in the changing shed with the All Blacks when Graham Henry came in and had a, what my impeccable source described as, an incredibly awkward three or four minutes, sharing a beer with Steve Hansen and a couple of the players."
He says a source within the team has described the encounter to him as extremely awkward.
"The resentment in the All Blacks is infinitely stronger than most of us see from outside, and there was a certain amount of bitter suggestions after Graham Henry left, that he wouldn't be very welcome if he came back again."
Phil Gifford says the tension between Sir Graham Henry and the All Blacks is far worse than has been alluded to.
