ITM Cup: Mixed feelings about Anae's elevation

Albert Anae has a job to do for Bay of Plenty before joining up with the Wallabies.

The versatile front-rower has been called up to the Australian squad for their Rugby Championship matches in South Africa and Argentina, but first will turn out for the Steamers in tonight's ITM Cup match against Southland.

Bay of Plenty coach Kevin Schuler says he has mixed feelings about Anae's elevation.

"Great for him, great for any player that gets to represent their country, so we're stoked for him.

"But obviously he's a big man so he'll be hard to replace."

Kick-off in Mount Maunganui's at 7.35pm.
