Taranaki ITM Cup coach Colin Cooper's slamming the format of the condensed competition. Taranaki are in the middle of a short turnaround, where they play three games in eight days. Cooper says the competition isn't able to serve its purpose if games are being squeezed into a tight schedule. "This competition is to develop and find the next All Blacks, the next Super (Rugby) players. By having short turnarounds it's not professional enough in my view that they don't get the coaching and they don't get the recovery time." Taranaki take on Auckland at Eden Park tomorrow night.
