By: Brenton Vannisselroy | Latest Rugby News | Saturday September 15 2012 18:26

Wellington's moved to the top of the ITM Cup Premiership with a bonus point 29-13 win over Waikato in the Capital.

Eric Sione, Ardie Savea, Shaun Treeby and Jason Woodward scored tries for Wellington, while Ted Tauroa crossed for Waikato's only five pointer.

The Lions now have 19 competition points, one more than Taranaki, who've dismissed Canterbury 18-9 in their latest Ranfurly Shield match.
