Vixens coach steps down

By: Radio Sport staff | Latest Netball News | Monday August 13 2012 17:10

Melbourne Vixens coach Julie Hoornweg has stepped down from her post after five trans-Tasman netball seasons at the helm.

Hoornweg says won't be back for 2013, despite guiding the Vixens to a premiership and two grand finals - including this year's decider where they lost to the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic.

She says she is taking a break from the sport completely to spend more time with her family.
