Pulse host Mystics tonight

By: Andy Rowe | Latest Netball News | Sunday April 29 2012 17:27

The Central Pulse host the Northern Mystics in Palmerston North tonight.

It's a rematch of round one, which the Mystics won by four goals.

Pulse shooter Caitlin Thwaites says coach Robyn Broughton has dissected that game and fixed some crucial areas.

"Robyn's been looking at a lot of the tape, and we've all been having a look at the way we played against them last time.

"Hopefully we'll be able to come up with some combinations on court that we think will be able to combat what they're going to put out there."

The Pulse are hoping a sold out Arena Manawatu will help them as they face the Mystics.

Thwaites says the Palmerston North crowd usually has a major impact on games.

"Last year when we played in Palmy we had a really amazing crowd, and we're hoping that they're going to be very nice and loud and boisterous. I suppose it will be a bit intimidating for them, to come up against a crowd that's really vocal."

The opening centre pass is at 7.20.
