'Harrison hoist' not the only new trick

By: Nick Walker | Latest Netball News | Sunday May 27 2012 18:27

The Harrison Hoist will be on show once again when the Mystics meet the Tactix in the ANZ Championship in Auckland tonight, but the hosts are warning there are more innovations to come.

Coach Debbie Fuller says they'll continue to use the lifting technique that's given the competition near-unprecedented publicity.

Fuller says not only that, but there are one or two other tricks they've got up their sleeves.

"We have been looking at the way other sports play and other skills that they do. Similar sports like basketball and even looking at handball that's played in Norway, just looking at some of the different things that people are doing."

Centre pass is at 7:20pm.

Earlier, the Queensland Firebirds beat the West Coast Fever 56-55 in Perth.
