Little has changed on an uneventful second day of Brother Rally New Zealand. After seven stages in Northland, Sebastien Loeb's lead over Citroen teammate Mikko Hirvonen has increased from four to just 6.4 seconds. They remain one and a half minutes clear of their nearest rivals, although Ford's Petter Solberg has snatched third from Evgeny Novikov. Leading Kiwi hope Hayden Paddon is still 12th, with Richard Mason remaining clear of Emma Gilmour in the New Zealand Rally Championship field. Photo: Sebastien Loeb (Photosport) |
