Kiwi rally driver Hayden Paddon has made a good start to Rally Finland.

Competing for the first time in his new Skoda since changing teams, Paddon is 15th overall but first of the Super 2000 contenders.

Paddon, who leads the S2000 world championship, holds an 11 second lead over his nearest title rival PG Andersson.

Citroen star Sebasiten Loeb leads the rally after day one, seven seconds ahead of teammate Mikko Hirvonen and Ford's Jari-Matti Latvala.
