Cowboys prop Matt Scott's declared himself fit to play State of Origin after a disrupted return from a foot injury in their win over St George Illawarra. The Queenslander's missed the last six weeks of the NRL and was withdrawn after 60 minutes limping heavily. He says a bit of pain is to be expected and he's fine to continue playing. His North Queensland co-captain Johnathan Thurston is also expected to be fit for the Maroons after being dazed following an elbow to the head. Photo: Getty Images |
