New South Wales playing great Andrew Johns is adamant the Blues will beat the Maroons in game two of State of Origin in Sydney tonight. A loss for the Blues would see the Queensland juggernaut roll to a seventh straight title. Johns says they'll be heartened by their victory at the same venue a year ago. "I'm real confident at home. The game they played at ANZ last year was a huge step forward for the nucleus of this team, I think they got great confidence from that win." Johns jokes that allowing Billy Slater to touch the ball once a half and making Johnathan Thurston play with a hand tied behind his back would also help. Photo: Getty Images |
