Nielsen confident in adjusting to new home

By: Brenton Vannisselroy | Latest Rugby League News | Tuesday May 8 2012 18:21

The Warriors' newest signing is confident he'll have no trouble adapting to life in Auckland.

Queensland centre Dane Nielsen has signed a three-year contract with the Warriors and will leave Melbourne at the end of the NRL season.

Nielsen started his career in Sydney with Cronulla and he's told Radio Sport he's accustomed to living away from home.

"It doesn't matter where you live or what night, if you're there for long enough you get used to it and I did that in Sydney, did that in Melbourne and I'm sure I'll get used to it for the three years while I'm over in New Zealand as well."

There's one change to the Warriors 17 for Saturday night's NRL match against the Roosters at Mt Smart Stadium.

Alehana Mara will start at hooker in place of the injured Nathan Friend.
