Warriors prop Jacob Lillyman is in line to make a return to the NRL this weekend but concedes he won't be 100 percent. Lillyman hasn't been seen at all this season as he recovers from off-season bicep surgery. He says there are lingering effects of the tear. "It's going to be a bit sore for probably the next few weeks, just got a lot of scar tissue and that in there. It does have its moments, hurts a bit when you make contact and that." Lillyman says it's recovered enough to take on the Broncos, but he just has to be ready mentally. "Basically about confidence, how confident I am in it and how confident the surgeon is in it, so we'll assess that during the week." But he has revealed he won't be hanging out with fellow injured captain Micheal Luck this week. "Game days have been helping him sell jerseys and that up in the members' lounge and I'd certainly rather be out on the field so I'll have to leave him by himself this week." The side to take on the Broncos is named this afternoon. |
