Days may be numbered for Warriors' coach

By: Gary Denvir | Latest Rugby League News | Wednesday August 15 2012 7:38

Brian McClennan's days as Warriors coach could be numbered.

Heads could be set to roll at the club following a run of disastrous results that have seen the Warriors crash out of playoff contention in the NRL.

CEO Wayne Scurrah says they'll hold a full investigation to see what went wrong.

He says it could result in lost jobs and he and McClennan are amongst those in the gun.

"My job and his job are always on the line based on performance. That's part of the gig. Brian accepts that, and I accept that, and we're accountable.

"We're not stopping the season three weeks early and making changes and improving things or adding resources, so our focus has to stay on completing these next three weeks in the best order we can."

Scurrah everyone at the club is embarrassed about the recent results so the review will be very thorough.
