Discounted ANZAC test tickets snapped up

By: Nick Walker | Latest Rugby League News | Thursday April 19 2012 15:59

Discounted tickets to tomorrow night's ANZAC test have been snapped up this morning.

2,500 tickets have sold out on Grab One, with more of the 60 percent discounted seats to be made available.

That takes ticket sales up to around 25,000 - around half of the capacity of Eden Park.

Kangaroos vice-captain Paul Gallen says he owes a lot to representative rugby league.

Gallen says with club side Cronulla struggling in recent years, the rep games have provided the motivation to keep performing.

New Zealand Rugby League are hoping for a crowd of close to 30,000.
