NRL side too strong for Indigenous All Stars

By: Elliott Smith | Latest Rugby League News | Sunday February 5 2012 6:35

The NRL side's proved too strong for the Indigenous All Stars 36-28 in league's annual All Star match on the Gold Coast.

The Benji Marshall captained side scored six tries to five, with Warriors winger Manu Vatuveil sealing the match for the NRL team.

Indigenous captain Johnathan Thurston says they were guilty of too many mistakes.

Thurston says they were made to pay for errors by the NRL side, who have world class players.

Greg Inglis limped out of the game for the Indigenous side with 10 minutes remaining, clutching his left ankle after scoring a try.
