Campbell rules out NZ Golf Open appearance

Michael Campbell's ruled out a late appearance in the field for this week's New Zealand Golf Open.

Campbell missed out on a place in the lucrative season ending Dubai Championship, finishing tied for 8th at the Hong Kong Open.

He's thrilled with his late season form, but won't be heading to Clearwater this week.

He says he has one more tournament on his schedule this year, in Malaysia.

Final qualifying for the New Zealand Open is today, with the tournament proper starting on Thursday.
