Adam Scott lines up for championship redemption

By: Guy Heveldt | Latest Golf News | Sunday August 12 2012 20:44

Adam Scott is in line for major championship redemption.

Scott is one shot off the lead set by Fiji's Vijay Singh and Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy.

Play was halted midway through the third round of the PGA Championship in South Carolina.

He's seeking to turn around the final round capitulation that saw him shoot three bogeys in the last three holes of the British Open and lose the tournament.

His Kiwi caddy, Steve Williams, says it's anyone's to win.

"I never like to talk about a round, we are only half way through. There's a lot that can happen between now and the end of the third round."

Players will complete their third rounds overnight before playing the final round on the same day.
