Cambo 3 shots behind in Qatar

Kiwi golfer Michael Campbell is well placed after the opening round of the Qatar Masters on the European PGA Tour.

A four under par 68 has Campbell in a tie for 11th, three shots behind the leader, Portugal's Ricardo Santos.

He says anything under 70 on that golf course is pretty good but the conditions were benign and there were a few easy holes.

Campbell's made a strong start to the year, having recorded a top 20 finish last weekend in Abu Dhabi.
