A dodgy finishing stretch has seen American Matt Kuchar drop out of the lead after three rounds of the Players Championship at Sawgrass. Kuchar's bogeyed the 17th hole after hitting his ball in the water to finish at 11-under par and one shot behind compatriot Kevin Na who leads after a bogey-free round of four-under 68. Kuchar finished with a three-under 69 and says his par putt on 18 was crucial. "I had a great chance on 16 to make a birdie, hit a lousy chip. Made par on 16. To bogey 17 and then if I bogeyed 18 it would have been a real shame but to get up and down on 17 for bogey and save a par on 18 was big." Another American, Rickie Fowler, is alone in third back at nine-under. GOLF WITH BIO MAG...FOR A BETTER NIGHT'S SLEEP ...OH EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY SIX DOUBLE ONE DOUBLE ONE |
