The White Ferns have won the first of today's two women's Twenty20 cricket internationals against Australia in Melbourne. New Zealand's beaten Australia by six wickets, chasing down the hosts' 151 for seven with two balls to spare. Nicola Browne has struck an unbeaten 34 from just 17 balls to guide the White Ferns home after captain Suzie Bates had scored 42. The second match of the double header is due to start at 4.15pm.
