CD have upper hand over Auckland in Plunket Shield match

Central Districts has the upper hand heading into the final day of their Plunket Shield match against Auckland at the Eden Park outer oval.

They're 386 for six, a lead of 271 runs, with Kruger van Wyk and Doug Bracewell at the crease.

Canterbury's wiped off Wellington's advantage quickly in their match in the capital.

They're 43 without loss in their second innings, a lead of 16 going into day three.

The Northern Knights are 141 for three in the second innings against Otago in Queenstown, a lead of 39.
