By: Radio Sport staff | Latest Cricket News | Tuesday June 19 2012 6:45

English county cricketer Tom Maynard has died after being struck by a London Underground train.

The 23-year-old Surrey batsman played for his county in the t20 game against Kent at the weekend.

Police say a man matching Maynard's description ran away, after a car being driven "erratically" was stopped shortly before.
