Onus on Black Cap's bowlers in Antigua

By: Brenton Vannisselroy | Latest Cricket News | Saturday July 21 2012 18:52

The onus is on the Black Caps bowlers to make amends for their batsmen's shortcomings in the three-day tour match in Antigua.

New Zealand will resume on 137 for eight on day two of their warm-up fixture against a West Indies president's eleven.

Black Caps batsman Kane Williamson says it's a difficult wicket to get in on.

"So it's important we bowl well and put the ball in the right areas to make the inconsistencies the same for the opposition."

Williamson top scored for the Black Caps with a fighting 55.

Neil Wagner and Tarun Nethula will be at the crease when play resumes early tomorrow morning.
