NZ XI urged to push the limits against England

By: Brenton Vannisselroy | Latest Cricket News | Wednesday February 6 2013 12:25

New Zealand XI captain Andrew Ellis is urging his teammates to take their games to new levels in today's second Twenty20 match against England in Whangarei.

England comprehensively won the tour opener by 46 runs.

Ellis says they have to take on the English head-on.

"You've got to really back yourself and put them under pressure, sometimes push yourself to limits that you haven't been to before, particularly against these guys you've got to push those limits to be able to have success."

The second match is due to start at 2pm.
