First test between NZ, Sri Lanka evenly poised after day two

The first cricket test between New Zealand and Sri Lanka is evenly poised after day two in Galle.

The hosts have been dismissed for 247 in reply to the Black Caps first innings of 221 with Mahela Jayawardene scoring 91.

New Zealand's reached 35 for 1 at stumps, an overall lead of 9 runs.

Brendon McCullum is the batsman out, for 13.
