Breakers expecting sell-out

By: Daryl Fenemor | Latest Basketball News | Tuesday January 29 2013 6:15

Vector Arena is expected to be sold out for the New Zealand Breakers' Friday night Australian Basketball League game against the Perth Wildcats.

The Breakers have won nine straight games, but come up against second-placed Perth, who have already thumped them twice this season.

Breakers centre Alex Pledger's sure it will be hyped up as a pre-cursor to the finals but that's not the players' motivation.

Pledger says it's not a playoff game but it will be high intensity and worth the price of admission.

The Wildcats have won both previous games this season by over 20 points.
