Miami's denied Oklahoma City Thunder a chance for NBA Christmas Day revenge, claiming a 103-97 victory on home court. Meeting for the first time since last year's finals series that went the way of the Heat, forward LeBron James had 29 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds. James says they're often fiery contests. "Two teams that have the same aspirations and that's trying to win a championship. Both teams are not going to shortcut anything and we're just trying to get better each and every game and it was a good fight by both teams." Earlier, the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers picked up wins. The Houston Rockets are currently playing the Chicago Bulls, with Denver meeting the Los Angeles Clippers in the late game.
