Breakers win 15th straight, lock up minor premiership

Related

The Breakers have won their third straight ANBL minor premiership.

The two-time-defending champions have beaten the Melbourne Tigers 79-74 on the road, despite almost blowing a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter.

The Tigers brought scores back to level with four and a half minutes to play, before the Breakers kicked ahead.

Host guard Chris Goulding says they blew in the first half.

"We dug our own grave. It's hard to come back from 20 down at halftime. We showed a bit of character but it's not good enough to start the game like that."

Daryl Corletto led the scoring for the Breakers with 20 points.
